Solari, Inc. is hiring a Remote Peer Support Specialist to provide empathetic, person‑first line support from home for Colorado residents. You will engage callers with mutuality, document interactions, and guide individuals toward hopeful, recovery‑oriented resources.
The role emphasizes compassionate communication, boundaries, and collaboration with clients, families, and community services, with a focus on dignity and non‑judgmental support.
Work Schedule (2 openings): Wed‑Sat 09:30‑20:00; Sun‑Wed 06:30‑17:00
The Peer Support Specialist at Solari provides friendly, empathetic, and supportive phone line support for those who desire an authentic human connection to support them in their recovery. The specialist responds to callers using person‑first language and assertive communication, connecting with the caller’s issues through mutuality and inspiring hope. They assist individuals who call because they may be experiencing loneliness, isolation, fear, lack of support, and/or lack of resources. The Peer Support Specialist offers support, not solutions.
Wireless (Wi‑Fi) connection not permitted for this position; must be connected to your home internet modem with Ethernet cabling (Cat5e or better – staff may provide if needed).
$19.66 USD – $21.69 USD
While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to typical office noise. Ability to hear and speak. Employees must maintain a stable and secure private home internet with a minimum of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload, and an average jitter less than 20 % of latency.
