Job summary

DeCoach Recovery Centre in Dayton, OH, is seeking a Peer Support Specialist for our In-patient Detox facility. The role runs 8:00am–4:30pm, Tuesday–Saturday, with potential flex hours and possible travel between locations.

You will provide direct client services under clinical supervision to adults with substance use disorders, aligned with the facility's mission and values. Responsibilities include offering peer support, assisting with individual, family, and group counseling, and coordinating

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited college/university.
Must be licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

Provides peer support services under clinical supervision to adults that meet productivity and quality requirements.
Obtain treatment services as per the Individual Treatment Plan: individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling, community activities, facility visits, vocational training, and follow-up care.
Comply with all policies and procedures of DeCoach Rehabilitation Centre.
Work with administrative/team managers to improve the quality of services through ongoing studies and needs assessment for improvement.
Direct knowledge of substance abuse, proper documentation, and current therapeutic methods.
