Job summary

CompDrug is seeking a part-time Peer Recovery Supporter in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves supporting patients with lived recovery experience, mentoring peers, and helping navigate treatment pathways. The position is onsite with a 18-20 hour weekly schedule, Monday through Friday, 6am–2pm.

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Recovery Supporter credential required.
• Ability to engage patients and provide peer-based support.
• Onsite work schedule Mon-Fri 6am-2pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist new patients in navigating care at CompDrug.
• Provide support and motivation to patients in treatment.
• Advocate for patients.
• Ensure patients are connected with all CompDrug services.
• Model healthy coping and boundaries as staff and patient.
• Lead peer-led groups with patients and community.
• Maintain a safe, supportive drop-in environment.
• Attend work regularly and on time.
