Job summary

DeCoach Rehabilitation Centre in Fairborn, OH is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our Mobile Crisis team. This full-time role offers Monday–Friday, 10:00am–6:30pm, with potential flex hours and some travel between locations.

You will provide direct client services under clinical supervision, facilitating peer support, counseling, and community activities, while following treatment plans and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college/university.
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Active Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides peer support services under clinical supervision to adults meeting productivity and quality requirements set by DeCoach Rehabilitation Centre.
• Obtain therapeutic services as determined by the Treatment Team and specified in the client's Individual Treatment Plan: individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling, community activities, facility visits, vocational training, and follow-up care.
• Comply with all policies and procedures of DeCoach Rehabilitation Centre.
• Collaborate with administrative/team managers to improve the quality of services through ongoing studies and needs assessment for improvement.
• Maintain direct knowledge of substance abuse, accurate documentation, and current therapeutic methods.

Summary of position: We are currently hiring for a Certified Peer Support Specialist to work with our Mobile Crisis team in Fairborn. The hours are Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm. The Peer Support Specialist is responsible for providing direct client services that address DeCoach Rehabilitation Centre's mission and are provided in a manner consistent with the organization's vision and values. This position has the potential to utilize flex hours to best serve the needs of our clients. Some travel between locations is required.

• Work with administrative/team managers to improve the quality of servicesthrough on-going studies of existing services, and needs assessment for improvement and revisions
• Direct knowledge of substance abuse, correct documentation procedures, and current therapeutic methods.
