Easterseals MORC in Southfield, MI is seeking a dedicated team member for a part-time, hybrid role to support individuals in recovery-focused community services. The position invites applicants who are passionate about helping people access supports and advocate for inclusive opportunities.

Responsibilities include outreach, engagement, transportation, in-home services, group facilitation, and collaboration with the supervisor and team to advance person-centered planning and relapse prevention,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better required.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License.
• Auto Insurance - required/certification as applicable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Promotes and participates in activities that enhance individual recovery such as community inclusion activities, advocacy and anti stigma, education opportunities, etc. Direct services may include outreach and engagement, linkage to community supports, transportation, in-home services, group facilitation and advocacy. Attends team meetings and receives assignments from supervisor, team leader or designee. Collaborates team and staff in identifying program environments that are conducive to recovery; lending their unique insight into mental illness or dual diagnosis and what makes recovery possible. Promotes individual decision-making and participates in the person-centered planning process. Facilitates individuals in determining goals and objectives that will help reach recovery. Develops individuals in creating relapse prevention strategies (WRAP). Supports consumers in obtaining services that suit their individual recovery needs.
