Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Peer Support Specialist in California for a full-time on-site role. You will provide recovery-focused support, mentoring, advocacy, and community-based services leveraging lived experience to foster self-determination.

The incumbent collaborates with treatment teams, maintains HIPAA-compliant records, and guides clients toward recovery goals. Requires HS diploma/GED, Peer Specialist Certificate, Spanish fluency, and CA driver’s license with insurance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Peer Specialist Certificate required.
  • Lived experience as a consumer of mental health services or as a support person to someone receiving services.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • Valid California driver’s license and active auto insurance.
  • Prior behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of community resources and peer support practices.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time.
  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
