Clarvida in California is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Peer Support Specialist to provide recovery-oriented, individualized support to consumers using lived experience. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Peer Specialist Certificate required.
• Lived experience as consumer of mental health services or as a support person.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Valid California driver’s license and active auto insurance.

About The Role

Peer Support Specialist provides individualized, recovery-oriented support services to consumers using lived experience to build trust and promote self-determination. This role supports clients in achieving recovery goals through mentoring, advocacy, and community-based services while collaborating with the treatment team to enhance client outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Prior behavioral health experience preferred
• Knowledge of community resources and peer support practices
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time
• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency
