Renewal House provides permanent housing to 25 individuals who have a history of substance use disorders. Renewal House is funded by OASAS and works to provide clients with skills that will support them with integration into the community.
The essential duties of the Peer Specialist include but are not limited to the following activities:
Physical Activities - While performing the duties of this position, the Recreation Specialist must be able to navigate the facility on foot, climbing up and down the stairwells, in order to observe staff and clients. The Recreation Specialist must be able to lift or move material and equipment weighing up to 15 pounds.
