Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Are you interested in doing peer review within your specialty?
• Would you enjoy reviewing medical records for standard of care determinations and providing quality improvement recommendations?
• Looking for an opportunity where you can work from home with a flexible schedule?
• Have you considered peer review as non-clinical work that could make you a better clinician?
• Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Acentra Health is seeking peer reviewers with at least 5 years of clinical experience to review medical records and make a standard of care determination. The reports require the peer reviewer to discuss clinical disease processes, published guidelines, overall care provided and QI recommendations. We are seeking: OB/GYN Physicians and Physician Assistants.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted license
• Board certification (Physicians only)
• 5 years of clinical experience as a Physician or Physician Assistant
• Active clinical practice of at least 20 hours per week
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written communication skills
