Marian House seeks a Peer Recovery Support Supervisor to lead Certified Peer Recovery Specialists, ensuring services meet BHA, Medicaid, COMAR, and MABPCB standards in a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed framework.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Peer Recovery Support Supervisor provides leadership, supervision, and professional development to Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS) across Marian House programs. This role ensures peer services meet Maryland Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), Medicaid, COMAR, and MABPCB standards while promoting high-quality, recovery-oriented care.
Working collaboratively with clinical and program leadership, the CPRS Supervisor supports staff, strengthens service delivery, and helps participants achieve their recovery goals.

What You’ll Do
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor Certified Peer Recovery Specialists.
  • Conduct individual and group supervision in accordance with Maryland requirements.
  • Support staff onboarding, professional development, and certification compliance.
  • Review documentation for quality, accuracy, and Medicaid billing compliance.

  • Maintain supervision records and documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Promote trauma-informed, person-centered, recovery-focused services.
Qualifications Required
  • Active Registered Peer Supervisor (RPS) certification.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two (2+) years in sustained recovery in accordance with Maryland certification standards.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of peer support experience.
  • Over 3+ years in sustained recovery.
  • Experience supervising Certified Peer Recovery Specialists.
  • Knowledge of Maryland Medicaid regulations, COMAR, and behavioral health standards.
  • Experience working with individuals impacted by substance use, mental health conditions, housing instability, or justice involvement.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
