Westbrook Health Services, Inc. seeks a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) to provide peer support within recovery services. The role includes duties typical of a Behavioral Health Technician and facilitates support groups.
Certification as a PRSS is required to join a team dedicated to recovery-oriented care. The PRSS collaborates with clients and staff to promote wellness, maintains client confidentiality per HIPAA, and adheres to all applicable policies and procedures.
The Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) is responsible for providing peer support services to clients in recovery. This role also includes duties typical of a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and facilitating support groups. The PRSS works collaboratively with clients and staff to ensure the provision of recovery-oriented services and support.

Mobility and ability to sit for long periods of time using a standard computer keyboard, bend, reach and lifts up to 10 pounds are required in this position.
Qualification Requirements: Must have lived experience of recovery from substance use or mental health conditions and be willing to share personal experiences to support others.
