Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience providing peer recovery support.
• Texas Certification Board peer certifications required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient-related peer support services for social determinants of health.
• Coordinate outreach schedule, mutual support groups, and organization of peer activities.
• Attend to outreach to individuals' homes and other locations as needed.
• Facilitate group services for multiple people, both virtually and in-person.
• Follow guidance to ensure the peer support team remains aligned with program messaging.
• Follow UTHealth program regulations and practices.
• Support the clinical/research team; assist with other duties as assigned in crisis situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
