Our ACT Team is looking for our next Peer Recovery Specialist! The Peer Recovery Specialist position with ACT provides non‑clinical, person‑centered wellness‑focused support to engage consumers in treatment and to promote use of the consumer’s wellness recovery plan. The Peer Recovery Specialist shares their first‑hand lived experiences with recovery to inspire hope, increase engagement in treatment and in their communities, and support consumers in articulating personal goals for wellness, recovery resiliency and self‑advocacy. The Peer Recovery Specialist will receive coordinated individual supervision with the Office of Peer Supports and Recovery Supervisor and Program Supervisor and Peer Support Group Supervision.
Starting hourly rate: $20.33 – depending on experience.
Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
