Qualifications

Join #TeamAcenda and make a lasting impact. **Job Overview** The Peer Recovery Specialist is an active member of the clinical team and provides peer support services to clients within the Acenda EISS serving individuals who may be experiencing persistent mental illness, addiction, and other physical or behavioral health needs. As an integrated health organization Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's. **Program Info** The Early Intervention Support Services program uses a holistic approach to mental healthcare. Staffed by a multi-disciplinary team, EISS is co-located with other acute care programs in an easily accessible care continuum. EISS maintains close ties with area emergency departments, police, mental health agencies, social service organizations, and consumer agencies. **Key Responsibilities****:** * Responsible for walk-ins and referral outreach, completes program enrollment and insurance verification, follows up on needed documentation and additional items for program entry.* Works collaboratively on intake assessments and follow up session needs.* Provides individual Peer sessions to clients in EISS and maintains continuous communication as required by program.
