Job summary

Acenda, Inc. is hiring a Therapist for Substance Use, Co-Occurring, and Mental Health issues across multiple locations in New Jersey. The Therapist will provide individual and group counseling, collaborate with team members to implement mental health services, and support conflict resolution for clients. Applicants must have valid New Jersey licensure in relevant fields and uphold standards of professionalism. Qualifications

• Prior experience providing clinical care within a recovery-oriented program preferred.
• Ability to take initiative, be creative, dependable, reliable and work well independently.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group recovery focused counseling.
• Collaborate with Acenda team members to implement evidence based mental health services.
• Support students in conflict resolution and/or conflict mediation as needed.

Individual therapy is offered as well as family therapy, group therapy, and medication management. Acenda is now accepting new clients for counseling services both in-person and via telehealth—a remote phone or online therapy & counseling solution.
