What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members served to explore, create, and meet their recovery goals. They provide consultation to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture, recognizing and respecting each member's point of view and preferences. Additionally, they respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment during emergencies related to mental health or addiction.

Shifts Available

Full-Time 0.8; AM | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Friday-Monday

Compensation

Expected starting wage range is $24.59 - $29.64, based on geographic location and relevant experience.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Peer Certification obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment
  • California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification required
  • One year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges
  • Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system
  • Successful completion of Peer Support or Peer Employment Training
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance
  • Willingness to use company vehicle for client transportation
