Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pediatric Pulmonology. The NP will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, utilizing clinical assessment, diagnosis, pharmacology and prescriptive authority to care for pediatric patients.

The successful applicant will hold a Master’s in Nursing, be licensed as a CRNP in Pennsylvania, and have strong consultation skills.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
• Two years work experience as a RN required.
• Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
• Must have demonstrated effective skills in consultation.
• Certification as an NP in the area of practice specialization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage health conditions with prescriptive authority.
• Promote health through prevention and patient education.
