Job summary

Penn State Health Medical Group LLC in Wyomissing, PA, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a multidisciplinary care team, providing comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and management within the scope of the Pennsylvania nurse practice act.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing, current CRNP licensure in Pennsylvania, and at least two years of RN experience; NP certification in a specialty is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
• Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.
• Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
• Certification as an NP in the area of practice specialization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The NP is an expert in pathophysiology, physical assessment and diagnosis, pharmacology and exercises authority in health promotion and disease management.
• Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team and provides a wide range of patient services to a specific patient population across the continuum of health care.
