Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA seeks a Pediatric Sleep Medicine Advanced Practice Provider to join a multidisciplinary team. The APP will conduct seven outpatient clinic sessions weekly, evaluate pediatric patients with sleep-disordered breathing, and coordinate PAP therapy with DME and home health providers.

Responsibilities include ordering and reviewing sleep studies, discussing results with families, monitoring adherence, EMR messages, and ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
• Two years work experience as a RN required.
• Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
• Must have demonstrated effective skills in consultation.
• Certification as an NP in the area of practice specialization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide seven outpatient clinic sessions per week evaluating and managing pediatric patients with sleep disorders.
• Order/review diagnostic sleep studies and discuss results with families.
• Prescribe and manage CPAP, BiPAP and AVAPS therapy.
• Coordinate PAP therapy with DME and home health providers and complete necessary documentation.
• Monitor PAP adherence and adjust therapy as clinically indicated.
