Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR. Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

The OR RN role requires Ohio RN licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS; PALS preferred). CNOR is highly preferred. Weekly pay, W2 status, and comprehensive benefits are available to successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License is required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS required.
• PALS certification preferred; CNOR highly preferred.
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician and ensures continuity between units and the OR.
