Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in the OR. Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

We offer a PRN self-scheduling role with competitive pay, weekly direct deposit, and benefits for eligible staff. Ideal candidates hold Ohio RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and CNOR preferred; PALS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN OR (Peds) experience
• Ohio RN license required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• CNOR preferred
• Background screening and onboarding requirements
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for pediatric patients in the OR
• Perform assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery
• Assist physician and ensure continuity between care units and the OR
