Job summary

Hanger Clinic is seeking a Pedorthist to assess patients, formulate treatment plans, and collaborate with a broad clinical team to deliver high-quality pedorthic care. You will design and fit pedorthic devices, supervise ongoing patient care, and participate in practice management to empower mobility.

Applicants should hold ABC or BOC Pedorthics certification or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a valid driver's license and licensure where required.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Pedorthics from the ABC or BOC, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver’s license and driving record within policy standards.
• In states where licensure is required, the ability to obtain and maintain state licensure.
• May be willing to consider candidates not certified but with 5 years of demonstrated prosthetic/orthotic experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate pedorthic needs and options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design pedorthotic devices and select materials; take measurements and model modifications.
• Perform fitting with static and dynamic alignments; ensure proper fit and function.
• Provide follow-up with patients and physicians and mentor new clinicians.
