Job summary

Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) is seeking a compassionate Therapy Referral Coordinator to coordinate therapy and specialty care referrals, ensuring patients receive timely services across our clinics.

The role involves assisting physicians and nurses with referrals, verifying Medicaid eligibility, and maintaining accurate records in Ecw, all while upholding patient-centered care and efficient clinic operations in Northwest Arkansas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and nurse in preparing therapy referrals in a timely manner.
• Work closely with therapy providers to provide necessary referrals.
• Verify Medicaid eligibility/PCP assignment for any non-same day request and review complete eCW records to verify appropriateness of referral.
• Document all communication and maintain accurate documentation in Ecw.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
