Job summary

Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) seeks a compassionate Therapy Referral Coordinator to streamline referrals to therapy and specialty care. You will coordinate with physicians, nurses, and therapy providers to ensure timely referrals and accurate documentation.

Key duties include verifying Medicaid eligibility and PCP assignment for non-same-day requests, reviewing Ecw records for referral appropriateness, and maintaining thorough communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and nurse in preparing therapy referrals in a timely manner.
• Work closely with therapy providers to provide necessary referrals.
• Verify Medicaid eligibility/PCP assignment for any non-same day request and review complete eCW records to verify appropriateness of referral
• Document all communication and maintain accurate documentation in Ecw.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
