Job summary

Community Medical Center in Missoula, MT seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pediatrics to provide expert nursing care for pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, an associate degree in nursing, BLS, and PALS within six months, plus at least three years of pediatric sedation/PICU experience.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license is required.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider is required upon hire.
• PALS certification within six months of hire is required.
• Minimum 3 years of Pediatric Sedation and PICU experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients from admission to discharge or transfer.
• Provide expert care and education, act as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel.
• Utilize nursing process and clinical procedures, managing patient loads efficiently.
