Job summary

Community Medical Center in Missoula, MT, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pediatrics for a 0.6 FTE (PT) role with 12-hour shifts. The RN will provide high quality pediatric care, participate in care planning, and support patient families throughout admission to discharge.

The role requires an active state RN license, an AS degree in nursing, BLS, PALS within 6 months, and at least 1 year of pediatric acute care experience. Benefits include education and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire.
• PALS within six (6) months of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute Pediatric experience required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate pediatric care from admission to discharge or transfer.
• Provide expert care and education to pediatric patients and act as patient advocate and mentor for staff.
