Job summary

Mainstreet Pediatrics in Parker, Colorado seeks an experienced Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our in-house team. The role covers the full cycle from encounter to payment and requires collaboration with payers and our EHR.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of resolving denials, ensuring timely payments, and actively reducing accounts receivable. Pediatric billing experience and eCW familiarity are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional medical billing and revenue cycle management.
• Strong understanding of the medical claims lifecycle and payer processes.
• Experience resolving denials, rejections, and underpayments.
• Ability to interpret EOBs/ERAs and work with payer portals.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate with payer reps.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the revenue cycle from encounter to payment.
• Submit clean claims electronically and resolve rejections promptly.
• Monitor adjudication progress and follow up on aging accounts.
• Review EOBs/ERAs for correct payments and patient responsibility.
• Identify underpayments and pursue appropriate reimbursement.
• Prepare corrected claims and payer appeals when needed.
• Provide reporting on A/R, denials, and workflow improvements.
