Job description

We invite a Pediatrician who is seeking to make a lot of money working in MS where the cost of living is very reasonable!

Opportunity is located in East Central, MS, only 1.5 hours from Jackson! If you are a Pediatrician looking to work in a congenial practice and earn an exceptional income, then you need to apply today! This is an employed position and is immediately available.

This is an established practice where the new provider would see 4,300 to 4,500 visits annually, plus approximately 150-200 hospital admissions per year. The expected on-call schedule is 1:5 during the week and 1 weekend per month.

The majority of pediatric specialists are based in Jackson, MS, about 1.5 hours away, but general specialties such as surgery and ENT are within a 45-minute drive. The practice also offers a tele-cardiology service with UMMC for reading EKGs and cardiac studies.

The clinic is housed in a 25,000 sq. foot building that includes Peds, FM, and IM, with full-service x-ray and lab facilities. The building is five years old. One pediatrician will be leaving in late summer to move closer to home. The position is immediately available and is an employed hospital-based role.

Compensation includes a base salary plus WRVU incentives, with additional pay for after-hours work. Pediatricians in this practice have averaged mid $350K and are projected to reach over $400K this year. Typically, a sign-on bonus of around $30K and up to $120K in loan reimbursement are offered in exchange for years of service. Note that this position is not eligible for visa candidates.
