St. Luke's Children's Hospital is seeking a BC/BE pediatric infectious disease specialist to join our team of 2 experienced physicians in Boise, Idaho. This clinical position includes inpatient pediatric infectious disease consultations and outpatient clinic practice, both located on the Boise campus. Our team manages a range of general pediatric ID diagnoses including TB, HIV, congenital infections, viral hepatitis, and cares for patients undergoing solid organ transplants, oncology, and bone marrow transplants. The Children's Infections and Immune Deficiency Clinic provides long-term care for children with HIV/AIDS and primary immunodeficiency disorders, along with acute and chronic infectious disease management and hospital follow-up care.
The role offers occasional medical student and resident teaching, with clinical faculty appointments available at affiliated medical schools. Opportunities to participate in infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship programs are also available. The position provides potential for growth and flexibility to align with the candidate's interests.
