Job summary

Legacy Community Health is seeking a Pediatrics Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Stafford, TX. This on-site, per diem role offers scheduling flexibility within a Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM window and a collaborative care team focused on pediatric patients.

You will follow licensure guidelines, perform focused exams, take health histories, and provide education on illness prevention and family planning while coordinating with supervising physicians.

Qualifications

Texas PA licensure and completion of an accredited PA program; eligible for Texas licensure.

Responsibilities

Follow licensure guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Conduct comprehensive and focused health assessments.
Gather histories through interviews and records review.
Perform physical examinations and document findings accurately.
Provide patient education, counseling, and family planning services.
Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide care.
Refer complex cases to specialists when needed.
Support clinic operations and participate in quality improvement.
