Job summary

Care for Kids is seeking a Part Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric Primary Care team in the DFW West region. The role focuses on preventive care, well-child visits, and managing common pediatric conditions, with emphasis on relationship-based care and continuity for children and families.

Providers will perform immunizations, development screenings, and coordinate care with physicians and specialists. BLS is required; PALS within 90 days of hire is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Texas RN/APRN licensure.
• Active national certification as a PNP or FNP for NP hires or Texas PA license with NCCPA for PA hires.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care from infancy to adolescence.
• Perform well-child visits and annual wellness exams.
• Immunizations and preventive health screenings.
• Manage acute illnesses and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic testing; coordinate follow-up.
