Job summary

Care for Kids is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric Primary Care team in the DFW West region. The role emphasizes comprehensive, relationship-based care for children and adolescents, including preventive care and well-child visits.

The ideal candidate has pediatric outpatient experience, Texas licensure, BLS, and PALS within 90 days of hire. The position focuses on continuity of care and family education in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as NP or PA in pediatrics.
• Active Texas license/certification.
• BLS; PALS within 90 days.
• Pediatric primary care/outpatient experience preferred.
• Immunizations and preventive care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric care from infancy through adolescence.
• Perform well-child visits, annual wellness exams, and age-appropriate physicals.
• Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on labs/imaging/tests.
• Document in EHR and coordinate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA compliance and provide family education.
