Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Pediatric Physician Assistant to join NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health on a per diem basis. The PA will work in Labor & Delivery, the Mother-Baby Unit, and NICU, providing direct patient care and assisting with deliveries.

New staff collaborate with residents and neonatologists to implement care plans, participate in improvement activities, and support discharge planning with social services and nursing teams.

Qualifikationen

• Current NYS Physician Assistant registration.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care including procedures and blood draws.
• Attend deliveries and conduct daily patient assessments.
• Implement daily patient care plans.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Social Services and Nursing staff and attend discharge planning meetings.
