PAGNY is adding a Physician Assistant - Pediatrics to NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in Brooklyn, NY. The per diem PA will work across Labor & Delivery, the Mother-Baby Unit, and the NICU, under supervision, delivering direct patient care and collaborating with physicians and nurses.

Applicants must have NYS PA registration and NCCPA certification, and be able to work evenings and weekends. The position offers an hourly rate of $85 and aligns with the hospital's mission to serve

Formación

• Current NYS Physician Assistant registration is required.
• Certification issued by the NCCPA is required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care including procedures, blood draws, attending deliveries, and daily patient assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and neonatology staff on unit-based care.
• Participate in discharge planning meetings and performance improvement activities.
