Loyola University Medical Center is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Neonatologist to join the Department of Pediatrics. Loyola University Medical Center has a level 3 NICU with a Fellowship Training Program in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. In addition to clinical duties, candidates are expected to teach Medical Students and Pediatric trainees, including fellows. Candidates will be part of the Loyola faculty with strong support from specialists and subspecialists, and a team approach to managing complex patients.
Requirements:
Ronald McDonald Children’s Hospital is a 125-bed tertiary care pediatric hospital within a hospital, including 50 neonatal intensive care beds, 25 newborn bassinets, 14 pediatric intensive care beds, and 36 general inpatient and intermediate-care beds, serving a large multicultural population. The Department of Pediatrics has approximately 90 full-time faculty members dedicated to caring for children and adolescents from birth to 21 years of age. The faculty includes pediatric medical and surgical specialists, as well as community-based primary care physicians. Nursing care is provided by staff with Magnet status since 2008, in a patient-centered environment. The residency training program includes 30 categorical pediatric and 16 medicine-pediatrics resident trainees.
