Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, nurses, and other staff in delivering patient-centered care. The role emphasizes efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and adherence to ethics and compliance standards.

You will work full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility in hours. The position involves clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting, contributing to patient satisfaction and quality care.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Within six months of employment, complete CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certification.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification is required.
• 0–2 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Strong computer skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures efficient patient flow by preparing exam rooms and documenting patient information.
• Assists providers with procedures and basic clinical tasks per protocol.
• Maintains clean, safe treatment areas and proper vaccine/medication inventory.
• Engages with patients and care team to support communication and satisfaction.
• Performs delegated duties and assists in daily clinic operations.
