Advocate Health’s AMG Lutheran General Residency - Pediatrics clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a high-volume pediatric team. The position supports providers, engages with patients, and helps ensure safe, compassionate care in an ambulatory setting.

Please note this full-time role requires a 40-hour week with a rotating Saturday/evening schedule and adherence to regulatory guidelines to maintain patient safety and confidentiality.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of experience.
• Previous pediatrics experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality care.

Medical Assistant diploma

2 years MA experience
