Job summary

Atrius Health seeks a Medical Assistant in Pediatrics to support clinicians in exams, take vital signs, and maintain EMR accuracy. This full-time role requires preparing patients for visits and ensuring smooth patient flow in a busy pediatric setting at our Peabody location.

Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred; High School diploma or MA certification is required, with an associate degree or higher preferred. Salary offers hourly pay between $16 and $25 plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency or MA certification.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• 2+ years clinical experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient flow of patients and optimize appointment availability.
• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for examinations.
• Measure vital signs and assist clinicians with routine procedures.
• Update EMR with results, demographics, medications and allergies.
• Reconcile medications and manage refills as appropriate.
