The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Blood and Marrow Transplant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Children’s Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking fellowship-trained Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologists at any rank. The team currently includes 10 physicians, 6 APPs, and 3 fellows. Special consideration will be given to candidates with interest or experience in sickle cell anemia, coagulation, and/or leukemia.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a strong clinical and academic career within a well-supported practice serving a diverse patient population. Candidates should be BE/BC in pediatric hematology/oncology with excellent clinical and leadership skills, capable of teamwork, and committed to medical education and scholarship. Funding is available to support research programs in collaboration with the Child Health Research Institute and Pediatric Cancer Research Group, depending on the candidate’s research focus and expertise.
The team provides care at Nebraska Medicine and Children’s Nebraska. Children’s Nebraska is a vibrant, independent pediatric teaching hospital and Nebraska’s only comprehensive pediatric specialty health care center, emphasizing clinical care, education, research, and advocacy. Our institutions are members of COG, one of 70 NCI-designated cancer centers, the region’s Hemophilia Treatment Center, and part of the National Alliance for Sickle Cell Centers.
