Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA seeks a Pediatrics Data Analyst to analyze large data sets, perform SAS programming, cleaning, and descriptive analyses, and support QA/QI initiatives. You will collaborate with the NeoQIC director and senior project manager to develop surveys in REDCap and present findings to stakeholders.
You will also contribute to literature reviews, assist manuscript preparation, and provide data insights across outpatient, inpatient, and ED analytics, with a focus on
Analyze large amounts of data, supplying statistical information, interpreting data, managing data and providing technical support to help the department allocate resources, measure performance, and help design new programs, facilities and systems. Typically involves Quality Assurance/Improvement, Database Management, and streamlining data collection processes. May oversee and coordinate research projects as well as statistical tests and programs. Position: Pediatrics Data Analyst Department: Pediatrics Schedule: Full Time
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree required, plus three years of experience with data collection, analysis, and/or program evaluation; or Master's Degree in a healthcare field plus one year of relevant experience. Advanced statistical courses (2) can be substituted for one year of relevant experience
Proficiency with MS Suite (Excel /Minitab /Visio /Access/Word /Outlook/PowerPoint). Support BACO metrics Must have experience in statistical analysis and interpreting data from analytic studies. Comfortable presenting in group settings Experience interacting with database environments (e.g. SQL, MS Access, Oracle) is a plus. Strong conceptual and analytical skills; able to interpret and apply statistical techniques, and effective communication skills to explain methods and findings to non-statistician team members and audiences. Ability to work independently and to set priorities while managing several projects simultaneously; strong attention to detail is essential.
Range: $62,500.00 - $91,000.00 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
