SSM Health in St. Charles, MO is hiring a Medication Administration Assistant to administer prescribed medications under supervision of RN or LPN and to maintain related medical records.

The role features a Monday–Friday day shift with no weekends or holidays, 40 hours per week, and a focus on patient safety and accurate medication delivery in a pediatric department. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent (or 10 years of experience), and a BLS certification; Wisconsin

Competenze

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience.
• Wisconsin ONLY - High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience, and graduate from medical assistant school or training program or education equivalency for certification
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) required by American Heart Association (AHA)

Mansioni

• Presents medication to patient and observes ingestion or administers medication using specified procedures.
• Takes vital signs or observes patient to detect response to medication, and reports reactions.
• Restocks medication inventories.
• May provide direct patient care. Ensures resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Three years' experience
