Job summary

Kennebec Pediatrics, a thriving, well-established practice of MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a board certified or board eligible Pediatrician to join their collegial team, meeting patients’ medical needs through compassionate, respectful and professional care.

Join a team of eight physicians at Kennebec Pediatrics along with nursing and support staff in an outpatient setting, providing care from infancy to young adulthood.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Work with a team of eight physicians and nursing/support staff.
• Deliver care from infancy through young adulthood.
• Schedule 32 clinical hours plus 8 hours of dedicated administrative time.
• No evening clinic hours and no inpatient pediatric, ED, or newborn nursery coverage.
• Call rotation of 1 in 8 weekends; after-hours call 4:50 pm–7:45 am on weekdays and 2:00 pm–9:00 am on weekends.
• Potential to work per diem as a pediatric hospitalist if desired.
