Job summary

Ascension Via Christi Manhattan Hospital in Manhattan, Kansas, is seeking a Pediatrician for an employed, full-time role in a busy hospital system. The position focuses on inpatient pediatric care in the level 2 nursery, with a strong referral base and access to the resources of a national health system.

The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in Kansas, board eligible or certified in pediatrics, and able to obtain DEA registration.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care for newborns, infants, children and adolescents in the level 2 nursery inpatient setting.
• Attend deliveries and provide newborn assessments, stabilization, and routine nursery care as needed.
• Manage care for normal newborn nursery patients, including admissions, daily rounds, discharge planning, and parent education.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record system.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
