The primary location for this role is hybrid in-office located in Houston , travel is estimated to be up to 10% and expected schedule requirements are 4x10s 8:00 am -6:00 pm local time . B ilingual in Spanish highly preferred for this role .

What You’ll Do

As a Pediatrician with Imagine Pediatrics, you play a critical role in ensuring the best care for children with complex medical needs. Our goal is toincrease the number of safe days at home by ensuring kids and families get what they need when they need it—reducing unnecessary medical visits and hospitalizations. You leverage an integrated technology platform and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including APPs, registered nurses, navigators, pharmacists, psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists. In this role you will:

  • Managing a panel of complex pediatric patients, comprehensively overseeing their care plans and coordinating with primary care providers, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Overseeing a multidisciplinary team to provide wraparound support, working closely with paramedics to deliver in-home care (virtually) and address both medical and administrative needs.
  • Educating and empowering parents to understand and navigate their child’s care plan, reinforcing treatment goals and ensuring long-term health success.
  • Conducting comprehensive virtual enrollment visits for new patients, virtual acute escalations for current patients, and in-home virtual assessments for sick visits supported by our Mobile Integrated Care team and post-hospital discharge follow-ups.
  • Providing gap care when patients experience a lapse in services, ensuring continuity and preventing setbacks in their treatment journey.
  • Supporting administrative medical needs, including coordinating prescriptions, referrals, and insurance-related processes to remove barriers to care.

What You Bring & How You Qualify

First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to creating the world our sickest children deserve. You want an active role in building a diverse and values-driven culture.   • You hold an unrestricted MD or DO with a Texas state license
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics and/or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
  • 5 years post residency experience
  • Extensive experience managing children with medical complexity.
  • Focus on quality of care, population health and/or virtual care experience a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.

The compensation for this role starts at $210,000 and includes a $10,000 annual bonus. In addition to competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors including job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.
