Job description

St. Luke's University Health Network, the region's largest and most established health system, a major teaching hospital, and one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals, is seeking a passionate BC/BE Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to join our dedicated team of physicians providing excellent care at St. Luke's University Health Network / St. Luke's Children's Hospital.

Our pediatrics department is growing and expanding our services. We seek providers excited by growth and new opportunities.

Highlights include:
  1. Developmental Pediatrics Practice: Designed to meet the needs of patients in this specialty, including Quiet and Observation rooms for assessments. Supported by a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Social Worker for complex care coordination. Access to pediatric behavioral health, neurology, PT/OT/ST, and more.
  2. New Facilities and Programs: In 2023, we established St. Luke's Children's Hospital at the Bethlehem Campus and are a proud member of the Children's Hospital Association, reflecting our commitment to pediatrics.
  3. Comprehensive Pediatric Services: Including inpatient, neonatal, emergency medicine, specialty and primary care across multiple locations. The network includes a robust base of family practice providers throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  4. Specialized Units: An 8-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (opened 2020), a 6-bed Pediatric Emergency Department (expanding to 11 beds), and a variety of pediatric specialty services spanning over 40 areas, many located at the Pediatric Specialty Center.
  5. Obstetrics and Neonatal Care: The region's most extensive OB program, delivering nearly 5,000 babies annually, with Level III NICUs at multiple campuses.
  6. Network Reach: Covering 11 counties with over 320,000 annual emergency visits, including multiple hospitals with specialized neonatal units.
