UTHealth Houston’s North Channel location in Houston is seeking an entry-level Pediatric WIC Nutritionist. The role involves assessing nutrition data, counseling clients, and coordinating nutrition education classes for the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field required.
• Entry-level position offering exposure to a vulnerable population.

Responsibilities

• Counsels program participants on nutritional needs and follow-up care.
• Teaches nutrition education classes per the Annual Nutrition Education Plan.
• Oversees sample formula distribution and inventory reconciliation.
• Assists Clinic Manager with monthly caseload, customer service, and staff training.
• Participates in nutrition seminars/workshops to maintain ongoing education.
