HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking an RN Vascular Access to perform peripheral and central line placements and provide dedicated care. The role requires Florida RN licensure and timely, precise documentation, with collaboration across the care team.

Candidates should have an ASDN/BSN pathway, strong aseptic technique, and up-to-date knowledge of IV therapies. The position emphasizes patient safety, quality outcomes, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of central line placement anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to confirm line placement via chest X-ray.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Experience with PICC and IV therapy care and dressing changes.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care team to deliver quality care.
• Inserts PICC line and med line IV catheters and documents procedures.
• Assess patient status and respond to changes in physiologic and psychosocial status.
• Participation in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
