Job summary

Connecticut Children's is seeking a Value Analysis Specialist to lead the PEVA program in collaboration with Executive Leadership, Supply Chain, Medical Staff, clinical staff, and vendors. The role focuses on reducing expenses while enhancing clinical outcomes and quality through evidence-based product evaluation.

You will review and optimize contracts, drive product standardization, coordinate roll-outs, and track cost savings using a dedicated tool across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• 3-5 years related experience in a pediatric facility.
• Operating Room Experience or Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to review/analyze data to drive decision-making, including using appropriate tools (Microsoft Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical skills and strong interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drives clinical cost reduction and better patient outcomes as the Clinical Champion of Connecticut Children's Value Analysis Program.
• Organizes and manages all Value Analysis Committees at CT Children's.
• Assesses financial, clinical, operational, and literature to select and implement cost-effective products/services/processes.
• Provides data/information related to Value Analysis and investigates new/alternative products per needs.
• Coordinates clinical evaluation trial activity and ensures criteria for measurement of clinical efficacy are established.
