Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Director of Value Analysis and Strategic Initiatives to lead the health system's Value Analysis Program, partnering with clinical and administrative leadership to optimize costs while maintaining care quality.

You will oversee the Value Analysis team, standardize data-driven processes, drive cost-management initiatives across supply categories, and build cross-functional alliances with finance, IT, and supply chain leaders to align price

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in healthcare, value analysis, materials management, or project/program management.
• Four-year bachelor’s degree. Experience in related field. Required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and sustain strategic sourcing services across multiple categories.
• Provide leadership to sourcing teams to research market opportunity and drive strategic direction.
• Set procurement policy and expand sourcing influence to minimize cost variation.
• Develop standardized work to ensure daily procurement operations meet customer needs.
• Oversees planning, execution, and implementation of value analysis initiatives.
• Partners with finance and clinical leaders to validate savings opportunities.
• Monitors utilization and cost performance to drive corrective actions.
• Leads documentation and governance of value analysis processes for new initiatives.
• Directs evaluation of new equipment prioritizing patient safety and alignment.
• Designs and improves new product review and approval processes to reduce waste.
