Job summary

Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking seeks an experienced Vaccine Coordinator to manage inventory, storage, and documentation across pediatric clinics. Travel between CHoC locations is required, including Lumberton, Pembroke, Fayetteville, and other sites.

The role supports patient care, ensures regulatory compliance, trains staff, and maintains NCIR data accuracy. A certified medical assistant or LPN licensure is required, with pediatric vaccine experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RMA/CCMA certification or LPN licensure required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pediatric vaccine or NCIR experience required; VFC experience highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and staff training skills.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and ability to use NCIR.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach and love for working with children and families.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage vaccine inventory, ordering, receiving, stock rotation, and reconciliation.
• Monitor vaccine storage temperatures, review data logger reports, and address temperature excursions.
• Maintain accurate NCIR records.
• Ensure compliance with NC Immunization Branch, VFC, CDC guidelines, and CHoC policies.
• Train and support clinical staff on vaccine handling and documentation.
• Conduct compliance audits and assist with VFC site visits and recertification.
• Maintain vaccine supplies, temperature logs, and required records.
• Provide clinical support with vaccine administration as needed.
